What is Sudafed used for? 

Sudafed have a wide range of products that aim to provide temporary relief from sinus congestion. 
Sudafed is available in tablets and liquid form in a nasal spray. 


Sudafed also have a range of products that can help ease your sinus pressure and can provide day and night relief.

Sudafed can also be used to relieve cold and flu symptoms and allergies. 


How long does Sudafed take to work? 
The main ingredient in Sudafed is pseudoephedrine hcl, which means that you should start to feel relief in 15 to 30 minutes.  
As decongestants only work for a short time (around seven days), you should not use them for any longer than that.

You should not give Sudafed to children younger than six years, unless specifically recommended by your doctor.  


What are the side effects of Sudafed? 
You should take Sudafed nasal spray and tablets with or after food to reduce the likelihood of side effects. 

Some common side effects include headaches, feeling sick and dizziness. More severe side effects can include heart problems, hallucinations and restlessness.

Can I take Sudafed with other medications? 
Sudafed can interact with other medications, including medicine that affects your brain. This includes tricyclic antidepressants, some type of headache medication and caffeine.
