Lemsip Max Cold and Flu Hot Drink Lemon helps the temporary relief of cold and flu symptoms, including headache, sore throat, fever, body aches and pains.

Directions For use

Pour contents of sachet into mug and fill with hot, but not boiling, water. Stir until dissolved. If preferred, sweeten to taste with sugar, honey or your usual sweetener. 

Adults and children over 12 years: 1 sachet. Do not use more than 1 sachet per dose. Dosage may be repeated every 4-6 hours as necessary, maximum 4 sachets in 24 hours. Do not give to children 12 years and under.

Warnings

Before use always read the label and follow all manufacturers instructions and directions. Incorrect use could be harmful.

Do not use Lemsip:

• If you are allergic to paracetamol
• If using other medicines containing paracetamol
• For children below age 12
• For more than 48 hours for children aged 12-17 except on medical advice
• For more than a few days at a time in adults except on medical advice
• If any of the seals on this packaging are broken or if the package use-by date has expired
• Until you read the enclosed leaflet carefully

Ask a doctor before use:

• If you have liver or kidney problems
• If you are taking warfarin (a medicine used to thin the blood)

Stop use and see your doctor immediately if You have an allergic skin reaction, shortness of breath or wheezing after taking Lemsip.

While using this product If an overdose is taken or suspected, ring the Poisons Information Centre (AUST: 13 11 26; NZ: 0800 764 766) or go to the hospital immediately, even if you feel well because of the risk of delayed, serious liver damage if left untreated.

Ingredients

Each sachet of powder contains Paracetamol 1000mg.

Ascorbic acid, Caster sugar, Pulverised sucrose, Citric acid anhydrous granular, Sodium citrate, Flavour No 1, Aspartame, Saccharin sodium, Curcumin WD Powder,

Contains total sugars 2.2g in a base including sucrose & lactose. Contains aspartame and saccharin. Contains 129mg (5.6mmol) of sodium which should be taken into account by those on a low sodium diet.
