General Product Description

Hydralyte Effervescent Electrolyte Tablets relieves symptoms of dehydration and helps replace water and electrolytes lost due to vomiting, diarrhoea, heavy sweating, vigorous exercise and occasional hangovers. The effervescent drink comes in a pleasant tropical flavour.

Directions for Use

1. Remove 2 tablets from tube and replace the cap tightly. Dissolve in 200mL of fresh, cold drinking water. For babies under 6 months use freshly boiled and cooled water.
2. Sip slowly and frequently while symptoms persist.
3. Discard unused solution after 2 hours or 24 hours if refrigerated.
4. Do not mix Hydralyte with cordial, fruit juice, soft or sports drinks. Always dissolve in water.
5. Never place tablet directly into mouth. 2 tablets = 200mL

Recommended dosage for dehydration due to vomiting and diarrhoea:

2 tablets = 200mL of fluid

• Under 12 months: In first 6 hours mix and give 2-4 tablets. Up to 10 tablets daily
• 1-3 years: In first 6 hours mix and give 4-6 tablets. Up to 14 tablets daily
• 3-6 years: In first 6 hours mix and give 6-8 tablets. Up to 20 tablets daily
• 6-12 years: In first 6 hours mix and give 8-14 tablets. Up to 26 tablets daily
• 12 - Adult: In first 6 hours mix and take 12-20 tablets. Up to 40 tablets daily 

For dehydration due to other causes: Drink Hydralyte when thirsty or exhibiting signs of dehydration.
