Henry Blooms Evening Primrose Oil 1000mg is a rich natural source of the Omega-6-essential fatty acid gamma-linolenic acid (GLA). GLA is converted in the body to prostaglandins, which are hormone like compounds which help to regulate a number of bodily functions, including the female reproduction system. 

The Evening Primrose plant is a native of North America, although it is also found in Europe and the southern hemisphere. Its yellow flowers bloom in the evening and are pollinated by night-flying insects. The oil is extracted from the seeds of the Evening Primrose plant and put into capsules.
