The Braun ThermoScan 3 infrared ear thermometer is used for the intermittent measurement and monitoring of human body temperature in a home use environment.

Remove the thermometer's protective cover and press the power button. Attach a new Braun lens filter before fitting the probe snug into the ear canal. Push & release the Start button. A confirmation beep will sound when temperature has been taken. Once temperature is read, remove from the ear canal and gently pull off the disposable lens filter. Discard the used lens filter.
The ear must be free of excess wax build up to take an accurate temperature. Use the untreated ear if drops or other medications have been placed in the ear canal.

Always read the label and follow directions for use. If fever or sypmtoms persist, consult your healthcare professional. Always use the thermometer with an undamaged lens filter for each measurement to prevent infection.
