Accu-Check FAQS
How do you use Accu-Chek?
If you are using your Accu-Chek Guide Me wireless blood glucose monitoring system, it’s designed to be simply easy for quick and accurate testing.
You can use your device on the go by preparing the lancing device, inserting the metallic end of the blood glucose test strip into the meter, pricking your finger with the lancing device, putting a drop of blood onto the yellow edge strip and waiting for your results.
For more information on how to use your device, please read the instructions that are featured in the guide or work closely with your diabetes management team for more help.
How can I charge my Accu-Chek?
The battery in your Accu-Chek meter should last for approximately 2,000 tests.
Depending on the Accu-Chek blood glucose monitoring meter model, you can charge your device through a USB cable or replace the battery entirely by using the battery door on the back of the meter.
What is a normal blood sugar level with Accu-Chek?
The normal blood sugar level for Australian adults is 4 to 7.8 mmol/l. However, it can be hard to keep these levels in range for people with diabetes. Your GP or specialist will help set blood glucose level targets that are right for you based on your body.
